Sage line 50 accounts and sales support administrator

The account role has the opportunity to influence key management decisions reporting to and working with the company MD
Applicants should be highly numerate with good telephone manner be professional and computer literate with an eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have a flexible and committed approach to a wide range of key duties which include:

The Sage roll (accounts for approx 24 working hours per week)

Purchase Ledger
1). Purchase invoices, Credit note put through onto sage
2). Verifying any queried invoices
3). Statement reconciliation
4).Payment for the authorization invoice to suppliers.

Sales Ledger
1). Print the sales sheet from Autopro at end of the month
2). Put through onto Sage
3). Allocation any payment already made (Cheque, Bacs, Credit Card)
4). Print account customer statement.

Reconciliation
1).Company Barclays credit card reconciliation
2) PDQ reconciliation (Duns, Flit, Hock)
3) Bank Reconciliation

Vat Return

Sage time arrangement (roughly)

Week one:
Sales invoices; Allocation money received (Bank, Credit Card)
Customer statement produce

Week two:
Bank and PDQ Reconciliation

Week Three:
Stock taking; nominal code checking; Profit/Loss Account and balance sheet producing and spread sheet format.

Week four:
Company credit card reconciliation
Supplier payment etc.

Sales support roll accounts for the balance of the working week

Answering customers admin enquiries
projects like cost cutting.
Support to the sales team
